In August 2023 Camille Place opened its doors to our first resident. In just 8 months, we have served 9 girls, two of which were pregnant. Aside from basic needs, our residents receive various modalities of therapy, with Equine Therapy being their favorite. They love working with animals! Gardening and baking are activities they enjoy that teach them life skills. We even cooked collards from our garden.
We welcome you to our website with a glimpse of transformation and hope.
Our mission is to provide refuge and restoration to female minors who are survivors of human trafficking; empowering them through the renewal of spirit, soul, and body.

Camille Place is a 501c3 nonprofit organization committed to providing care and rehabilitation to girls, ages 6 to 19 years old, who are survivors of sexual exploitation and human trafficking. We are committed to educating our communities and teaming with other nonprofits to develop legislation to fight human trafficking in Alabama.
Camille Place was founded by Chris Ziebach in 2015 with one goal in mind: to save children and to bring them to lasting freedom. Chris began to have vivid dreams in late 2014 of young girls and even herself being kidnapped, assaulted and sold into captivity. Over the next several months, as the dreams continued, Chris experienced numerous encounters with strangers and friends alike that solidified the vision for what Camille Place was to become. Through this journey, she discovered human trafficking was happening in our backyard, across the state, and throughout the United States. She also discovered that once rescued, there were very few organizations providing quality rehabilitation programs for survivors.
